Buy 4 scales, weigh each corner of the cart.

Empty the case, stand the case on end, balance on the scale (weigh it); box up the loose bits and weigh each box-worth.

Pick up one end while it's loaded.  If you can, it's under 50lbs, if you can't, that half weighs more than 70lbs??

Figure out weight of the amount of materials (1.5 sheets of 3/4 ply x 50lb per sheet = 75lbs)
