[SML] Snow in the UK?

Working with a British scenic designer and also a British director.

They want a lighting effect of snow.

They've both seen used before (by their description) a cylinder
revolving around a light source.  Cylinder has tiny holes.

Best US analog I can think of is City Theatrical Ripple Effect
Projector, which in no way will accomplish the effect.

Has anyone used this mysterious UK fixture???
