We got an El Cheapo video camera decades ago that had a time-lapse
setting, and set it to record one second of video every minute or so,
which reduced a full day (in-show-out) to a 30-minute bit of hilarity.

I expect most any decent DSLR would also have a time-plapse setting,
or would accept a remote cable release that has a time-lapse timer in
it (like my Canon TC-80N3 shutter release does).
