[SML] We lost a great one today

Wow.  Patrick tried really hard to get my career on the right path.  Introduced me to Doug Pope and Imero Fiorentino when I was right out of high school  -- where did I go wrong?

I had not talked to him in probably 20 years, but I always thought of him as a friend.
