[SML] Upgrading audio mixer

Just how the hell do you design such a pre-amp?

To be fair, I managed it once. The amplifier itself was fine, until
the gain control wiring was added. After that was sorted, all was
well. For all that I know, the mixers are still in use.

Drift, I do not understand at all.
