I will expand on your query, and ask if there is perhaps a web site dedicated to this sort of search.  It always breaks my heart to see good set pieces and props be trashed, knowing that there are other theaters that may be able to make use of them.  This might be for rental, though I had free stuff in  mind, with only shipping costs being considered.
