[SML] Inability to use words

Once upon a time, when you bought software, it came with a manual.
Written on paper, and bound as a book. Nowadays, the manual is on
line, and probably comes down as a PDF file. The problem is that if
you have an internet access problem, or one with your PDF reader, you
can't get hold of the information to solve your problem. This means
that you have to ring an expensive help line, which is usually as much
use as a fart in a fanfare. Moreover, when you can get hold of them,on
line, few of the options refer to the real problem you have.
Years ago, I used to understand hardware, and software. Not any more.
