The limit was simply too small. It was set to about 100K which was a throwback to when there were no attachments and that limit kept people from replying back with the whole digest :-)

I increased the limit to 1 MB, which should cover most images, even a few. If you don't have tools to resize pictures, there are plenty online, just search for "online photo resize" or something like that.

As far as receiving the larger emails, Digest folks won't care, since the digests strips attachments and puts in links. Hopefully most individual message subscribers use mail services that can handle reasonable attachment sizes! I could make it larger, since the freemail services typically allow 25MB attachments, and my email services allow 100MB, but some ISPs and web hosts still limit to a few MB.

Didn't we conclude that was caused by Gmail? There is a list setting to send you your own messages (or not). By default you do get your own messages. Email me directly if you want to look into that further stagecraft-web at theprices.net
