I recently ordered three of a cheap product and when they arrived, two
didn't work.  Grump.  I opened them up and found basic assembly errors
in the two bad ones so I took close up pictures of the innards of the
one that worked and the two that didn't.  I then fixed the two bad
units.  Since the marketplace guarantees everything their sellers ship,
I sent the pictures with an explanation of the assembly errors with a
request for half the money back.  I explained that I fixed them but the
repair effort was more than they're worth, I just wanted them working now.

Just got back a reply, they can't take pictures as evidence, ONLY
videos.  {head on keyboard}  So, I just made a 100 MB video pointing the
camera at my computer screen while pointing at each problem and
explaining in small words what the problems are.  Hopefully they can
understand this.  Maybe I should have shaken the camera so they'd have
more movement to keep them awake.
