If it stands on a table, it is not too hard to arrange a set of
contacts on the table, fed from a low voltage transformer. The same
can be done with a floor stand.
What sort of lamp are you thinking about? If it is electrically
powered, I see no problem.
Once, I had to deal with a lantern which was carried on stage, and
hung on a hook. This was the notional light source for the scene, and
needed to fade out at the end of the play. I built a battery-powered
lantern, and a special hook. When the lantern was hung on the hook, it
picked up power from a small transformer connected to two pick-up
points on the hook, which, with a little bit of electronics,
disconnected the internal battery. When the stage lights faded out, so
did the lantern.
I do not believe that there is a wireless device that will transmit
significant power to a remote destination. The inverse square law
militates against this. I have seen proposals for wireless charging of
batteries for cars, but they are not realistic. My electric toothbrush
is wirelessly charged, but in close contact with a coil fed from the
mains. It is, effectively, a small transformer with a wide gap between
the windings.
