I've been pretty happy with my Brother. Has all the features you mentioned, plus 11x17, if you ever want it. Reasonably inexpensive in terms of ink usage, and very easy to use. It does have a scanner/copier, but no one says you *have* to use those. It was about $65 at Staples.
