[SML] Painting Lighting Instruments

There was a thread awhile back about painting lighting instruments, and how it wasn't working out all that well.

Thanks for the further info.  For me, the key turned out to be applying additional coats within 30-45 minutes of the first coat.  Waiting any significant amount of time – even a week – just results in a mess.
