[SML] Laying a Masonite floor without using fasteners

I would always recommend that priming the masonite on BOTH sides is
desirable. The buckling occurs when one side can "breathe" and the
other can't. It will only get worse with time. The use of "tempered"
Masonite will preclude much of the warping to begin with, but again,
it should be primed. The other problem is that the gaff tape may not
actually be adhering as well as you might like. A heavy, wide,
commercial double-sided carpet tape (not the skinny residential stuff)
may perform better. Also, if there as a way to keep the humidity
constantly low, that will help as well.

I should also point out that the Masonite is raw and has not been painted yet. I'm not sure once a gets painted if that will actually help or make it worse. Let's hope for the better.
