Nite Ize makes some nice little pouches that I tend to see around a lot. I have an old Porta-Brace belt pouch that has worked well for many years. I also have the original pocket-protector type pouch from Occidental Leather that I quite like. Secures to belt or just slip the flap into a rear pocket for easy on and off.

I just picked up this one for $7 on Amazon, and I've been really happy with it for electrics calls. One pocket is exactly the right width for my Leatherman Wave, but a little too deep - it works great if you jam some tie line or something in the bottom.

Will you be working aloft?
I have a small pouch that has a bunch of small pockets for various screwdrivers and pliers. I think it's made by Nicholson. I'll check when I get to the office.
