I was having an Express last year be a bit flakey - 10 or 15 minutes
into the show, the board shut down during a performance. Had it
happen during a dress rehearsal as well, and I incorrectly blamed a
tech for "probably" hitting a power strip with his foot. Turns out it
was the ancient power supply giving its last gasps. Replaced it, and
all has been well. The PS was as old as the board, which was maybe 15
years old, or maybe more....

(Had to buy it from ETC.... I remember "back in the day" getting an
identical PS for about half the price from a computer supply place,
as it was the same PS as some laptops of the day used. No laptop
today uses a PS with pins, like the ETC boards did.....)
