It is also a rather uneconmical method of wiring. Lighting only circuits are run
in much thinner wire, and protected by smaller fuses. Over here in 240V-land,
Lighting circuits have 5 or 6A fuses. Power circuitshave 16 or 30A protection,
and cables rated to match.
