[SML] tree leaves

oak/maples leaves -  has anyone figured out a way to make theses types
of leaves cheaply?  I have thought of waxing real ones or having
students cut them out of fabric or trying to dye cut them out of
vellum.

It seems like someone must have figured out a way to do it cheaper
than buying them? or spending time reinventing the wheel?
