[SML] Need help using Focus Palletes on Element Console

The procedure I have been following has been:

Go to the desired Cue.
Type '40''Enter' to select the moving device channel. (an I-Cue)
'Recall From' (click on desired palette in the ML control area).
'Record' 'Enter' 'Enter'.

This does not put the label into the channel tombstone, nor does it seem to
properly update the position in the cue.

So there are two problems - the position not being updated and the label not
being applied. Both may actually be the same problem - which appears to be
that the position is not being applied to the cue.
