I'm an ATD at a private school. We have a lot of outside designers come in 
for our shows. It's always the same outside designers... My job on most 
shows is "keep it all working. If it breaks, fix it." I have come to guard 
my classtime pretty strictly. All else (excepting an actual emergency - no, 
another event is not an emergency) can wait 45 minutes until class is done.
