[SML] restricted air compressor?

Just received this note:

/We appreciate receiving your order, however, due to regulations related
to the sale of brass products that are imposed by your state, we are
unable to ship the T24726 Hand-Carry Air Compressor to you.  We
apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Since this was the only
item ordered, the entire order has been cancelled./

I know about brass for drinking water stuff, but an air compressor???
