Dear Chip,
There is no fee; the island has not been private since William Wrigley (ie
chewing gum & Chicago Cubs) gave it away to a nonprofit Conservancy, except
within the City of Avalon (not where the boars are). Helicopters are few,
far between,,and expensive compared to the one-hour boat ride, which is
scheduled service and free on your birthday. There are tours to see the
Bison & Boars, but I don't think you can hunt them. You can walk to the
Casino.
