San mar is the biggest supplier & most consistent in quality. They have
multiple brands with different fits- I'd stay away from port
authority...that's their cheapest brand and the fits tend to be boxy and
"old" with somewhat lower quality materials (although not bad for the
price/value trade off) District is their younger, more modern brand- good
fits but women's runs small so size up.

As far as other blank suppliers:
Alstyle- ok if you get their more expensive options. Their low end product
is really cheap quality. Fits are pretty generic/universal. This would be
my second choice.

American apparel- not worth the price. Also really slim fits

Next level- a little more expensive but good quality. Fits, especially in
women's are slim. Will need to size up.

There's a bunch of other smaller suppliers that might be ok if they can
look at the actual product first & check fits- consistency and availability
is usually an issue with the smaller brands so I tended to stay away from
them.

Also, the middle men (embroidery or screen printers) often stock a
specific brand then will fill in with another brand if the supplier runs
out of a specific size. As you can imagine, this leads to discrepancies in
color lots & sizing. Might not be an issue with plain black & outfitting a
team but it's something to be aware of.
