[SML] Drafting Texts

A friend has a nephew who wishes to begin to learn drafting and wants to
start old-school. Hand-drafting that is.  She is seeking a good book to
recommend to him.  I recommended Dennis Dorn and Mark Shanda's work but
said that i would see what others might recommend.  I am assuming that once
some basics are in hand, he will want to move to AC or VW but he wants to
get some solid understanding of the craft first.

Any further suggestions??
