L&E is no more.    We stocked up on spare parts for the stuff in our 
inventory when they were shutting down.  Check your local rental house 
to see if they did that and will sell you same.

    Gel frames for broad cycs are fairly easy if you have access to a 
spot welder.   Get some metal pallet banding in the 1/2 or 3/4s inch 
width.  Cut them to length and lay them out to match the outside 
dimensions of the gel frame.  Spot weld the corners, taking care to keep 
them at right angles.   Make up two of these and make a hinge out of 
gaff tape.

Safety precautions for welding, yadda yadda yadda.  You will get better 
welds if you take a wire wheel to the weld corners and clean it down to 
bare metal.
