Dear List,
When I was in theatre school, we were taught that a title block should have a space for drawing approval signatures. However, 18 years later, I have yet to have any drawings that actually get signed as approved, and with digital drawings I'm finding it's even less likely that someone will sign a hard copy of a drawing. I'm teaching a drafting course this semester and when we get to our discussion about title blocks I'd like to know what "the industry" is doing.
So, my question to you all is this: For those of you who do drafting, do you put a space for approval signatures? Is that space still being used or have we moved on from that process?
Thanks!
Chad
