Those of you using Break-Through, do you know if you're using the 50,
150 series or 250 series?  Gloss and station is available in both
series.  The numbers are roughly analogous to the VOC content.  I'm
told by PPG tech support that the 150 has been discontinued, but data
sheets still on the internet.  I can only guess the higher VOC
performs better.  I believe, in the end, what you can get is
determined by the state in which it is sold.  I don't know if the data
is on the can, but its on the MSDS and the product data sheet.

Now I wonder if the reformulation of Tough Prime that seems to have
resulted in some failures (for me) was a result of trying to meet VOC
regulations.  I suspect so because not it is indicated as 50, and I
know when I did a project a few years ago it was over 100 (like 120?),
and we got a variance.  (Variance was based on making a case that
using then available paints that were under 100 would require much
more frequent coating, sort of defeating the purpose.)  IIRC, we had
another project where it was pre-painted off site, and that's OK.
