[SML] Building Risers

Thing is . . i want this floor to “sound” right for Flamenco . . and has to put up with constant usage . .  and being struck and re set some time 2 - 3 times a week 
and it has to be 18”  high . . 

so I am thinking hard wood and groove over ply  ( something LESS than 3/4”  ) 

not worried too much about how “sprung” it is . .   ( which is something that for people who know me well will find surprising )
