if it was a shared neutral, I think (or guess)
both circuits would nuisance trip (themselves) at  relatively light loads
don't know if cross-tripping as Alf described would would happen.

no matter how I try to picture it, the current flows in
a shared neutral downstream of two separate GFCI devices
looks like an indeterminate mess.
