[SML] Plasa/ESTA breakup

Anyone have any details on what happened with Plasa and why what is once
again ESTA broke up with them?  It was only a few years ago that the merger
happened.  Personally I was surprised at the original merger.  Well, not so
much the merger but the abandoning of the ESTA brand.  Seemed, at least to
me, to be a much better defined label of the organization's function and
goals than the name Plasa.  

 

Oh, and after a several year gap in certification on Monday I passed my ETCP
Rigger-Theatrical exam.  140/150.
