...continued from re: Roof Question

Gong with a fully-adhered membrane system on 2" added insulation board.
( before / after sketches attached for curious minds who want to know  )
Comes in slightly less $, and slightly less pounds per square foot,
than rebuild with shingles.

Considering solar panels.
Ridgeline runs SE to NW, so one side faces SW.
Near Boston,MA.

Any pro /con comments ?

Is there a noise problem with rain falling on the solar panels ?

Crude estimate of power consumption is 1000 KWH / month.
