We have left folded up one of our smaller Gerriets opera cycs (19 x 45 or so) It hangs out in about a day or two. Be aware you need something heavier than 1/2" pipe in the pipe pocket. Manufacturer can give you weight you will need. If you..... "leave ours on the same batten hanging all the time" ..... use a pipe that wont rust...aluminum or at least galvanized....might try putting some baby powder on it to when you insert the pipe. The cyc will "stick" to the bottom pipe so wash your hands and "bounce" the pipe free each time you fly it in to use....and maybe again before it goes away.
