Hmm.... if he's in Bend, I think going Riesling would probably be a
better choice - that grows better in the high desert. If he were in
the Willamette or Tualatin Valley, then he'd best go with Pinot....

I love a good Cab, but when in Bend, I usually do a craft beer, anyway.    :)
