I know that I'm dating myself, but on the Lawrence Welk Show, we made 'columns' out of pleated curtains on ~18" diameter circular tracks. NOT weight bearing, of course, but they looked acceptable on camera, and very light weight...

- Open to capital/base options - as long as things match.
