Well, if an alarm on the phone goes off, this is a concern. Otherwise, the
point nobody seems to have caught, though, is that the pouches aren't just
a physical barrier, but are in fact a Faraday shield. The phone will not
get any new calls, so there's no ringing or beeping for it to need to be
stopped from.
