Electrician: Syracuse Stage, a leading LORT theatre affiliated with Syracuse University, is accepting resumes for an Electrician. Successful candidates will have several years' experience in professional theatre and a good working knowledge of theatrical electrics. Organizational skills and self-motivating qualities are necessary. Design experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to manage time well and work effectively with students and professionals in a fast paced environment. Carpenters: Syracuse Stage, a leading LORT theatre affiliated with Syracuse University, located in the heart of central NY, is accepting resumes for a Carpenter to join our professional staff in our well-equipped shops. The scene shop produces for both Syracuse Stage and the SU Drama Department. As such, the scope of show produced ranges widely; from small black box pieces to fully produced musicals. Successful candidates will have several years' experience in professional theatre and/or will be recent graduates of a theatre program with a degree in technical theatre production. Excellent theatrical carpentry skills, the ability to work both independently and with others in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude are key to this position. Experience with students, rigging (ETCP certified), automation (Creative Conners), and metal working experience are a plus. This is a full-time, seasonal position with benefits, working 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday.
