[SML] RIP Herb Camburn

Herb Camburn, the design professor for decades at California State
University Long Beach passed away on April 21, 2017. I would not venture
to count the ranks of designers and technicians that had the pleasure of
being guided and influenced by Herb. At times it was a challenging
process to be one of Herbs students but the product was worth the
effort. He never failed to have you stretch your boundaries. The breadth
of knowledge, attention to detail, and understanding of the process that
Herb shared with his students was unrivaled. A great many of his
students have had the pleasure to know him post school and get to know
him as a friend.

When you lift your next cold one wish him Godspeed and say thanks for
all he gave.
