[SML] Patch a phone call into a house system?

We do this (albeit on a smaller scale) relatively often for design presentations where either the designer or director (or both!) is out of town. We use Skype usually, and if you spend the time it can be a good solution. I'd always try to avoid wifi, so would probably advocate a laptop/desktop over a phone/tablet, but YMMV. It is relatively platform independent (Windows/mac/iOS/android/whatever). You do have to spend the time testing the setup, or the results can be... variable!

In my experience, people usually do not allocate enough time to setup and testing, and that's what bones them. Sounds like that may be the case with your client - from what I'm reading!

Cheers
Mikkel

You could just plug a laptop into the sound system and talk to them that way. That?s an all Mac solution but it should be able to be done using an Android phone and Windows?
