A few months back, I asked about sources and ideas for a 3' diameter for use as a projection surface. We ended up building it in-house from 'GreenGuard' foam. The link has some images of the process. We cut 'doughnuts' on the CNC router, glued them together, shaped and sealed with 'scenic dope' aka 'goop'.
