This sort of thing comes up every now and then, and every time it does
I just have a hard time believing that people will "engineer" entire
home audio systems with such overpriced snake oil.

I mean, it *is* snake oil, right? Electrons couldn't give two sits
about "Nano Crystalline materials" and outlets that "generate negative
ions that eliminate static and secondly, converts thermal energy into
far-infrared".
