[SML] Autodesk subscription?

Making a living in the design and construction business, there is no
viable alternative to AUtodesk products - either or bot AUtoCAD and
Revit.  I have a perpetual license which I update every year - I call
it subscription but  I guess is a maintenance plan - about $1000/yr
for the suite.  I have no real choice, do love the program, and find
useful improvements in each years upgrade.
