[SML] Intercom Options

How mission critical is a high school drama or musical and how frequent
during show is one of these likely to fail? Is one station of an intercom
failure during a show in five years unacceptable? Probably not board op but
someone on the rail or floor. Worst thing to go wrong? If you can use the
savings between ruggedized patch cords and commodity cords what will it get?

Just some thoughts.
