also because it’s Tungsten it “matches” most stage light color temp……….color temp, bright, dimmable, quiet, light weight, all the reasons I said I had two for bridge spots ( in 1982-88) …..great when you need to light just an actor’s face/head as they move around a dim scene.

Silent and much more efficient - brighter - than any other 1K tungsten halogen source spot. And light weight!

You can still rent 2 of them from Limelight Productions in Lee, MA. And he still charges top dollar for them.

I was in Orlando for 9 days with a some CU students, first for a competition sponsored by Ryerson Univ and Universal Creative then some IAAPA. A lot of driving them around and then seeing that they met some folks at IAAPA. SO…..those 12 miles of aisles, 39,000 other folks and a small group of 20 yo’s kept me shell shocked. I’ll process what I saw. Mostly refinements of what exists….sort of like what many said about LDI this year.

Did the follow spot museum have a Berkey Colorspot….had two of those back in the early 80’s as bridge spots.
