There is also a brush-on electrical insulating goop; similar in some ways to tool dip. Not meant for your application, so durability may be questionable. It smells horrific, though, so must be good for something.  I think there is also bed liner-in-a-can. Not LineX, but maybe better for what you're doing. Just make sure to mask the heck out of everything else!
