[SML] iphone 7 audio stops when using lightning adapter

What are you using to play the tracks?
Try GoButton, from Frigure54, the same company that makes qLab.
I use it all the time for dance performances, works great.

I am in the middle of a dance rehearsal, audio source an ifone 7 with 1/8" mini adapter, and the audio consistently stops playing after 15-20 seconds.
I put a mic in near the bottom of the phone to get through the rehearsal but I need to find a solution for tomorrows performance. 
Save just capturing the music on a flash drive. That would be my best solution however I would like to address the adapter issue as more and more often I get ifone 7's thrust at me.
Google has not come up with any workable solutions.
