[SML] In the Heights roller shutter / gate

>  I'm curious to hear from anyone that has tried  a DIY / MYO approach to the roller shutter (pull down gate) with Abuela Claudia's portrait on it at the end of the show. I think a commercially available option would be about half or more of my scenic budget. 

I did a “roll up door” for Little Shop of Horrors and used a commercial roller curtain (the kind with a chain” but replaced the vinyl with painted muslin.  I could have played a sound effect to get the metal on metal screech but wasn’t warranted since it was rolled up during a musical number and wasn’t central to the action.
