[SML] cataract etc

cataracts can be viewed as looking thru a yellow filter which you have been
doing for some time. when they are gone things are whiter. some artists go
batty with the color shift but soon recalibrate

same with hearing aids that shift tones to make up for loss, nothing sounds
right..
