Really?  5K?  That’s pretty cheap.  No wonder they didn’t like it.

I’m willing to bet that any of the major performer flying companies can handle this with no problem.  It’s a light instead of a performer.  It’s not like the rigging equipment really cares or anything.  Call Foy or ZFX

Or, go old school as has been suggested.  A stagehand and a rope.  Unless you need exact repeatability.
