[SML] LED fresnels.... your thoughts/experiences?

Just hung some ETC Color Source Pars with the dark blue LEDs for a permanent install and was very impressed with the color rendering as well as the "punch." Guy who was helping me focus remarked about the evenness of the field.

So proposals are getting put together on some
architectural/distribution/fixture/control stuff in my spaces, and of
course the ETC manufacturer rep has ColorSource Spot engines with
Fresnel adapters for the black box.....  anyone use the fresnel
adapters? What do you think about dedicated LED fresnel fixtures, like
the Chauvet units?  Compare/contrast?

Of course, all this might have a better chance of going through and
happening if everything comes from one manufacturer, but I wanted to
hear opinions....
