I'll second the Chauvet Colorado line. The dimming is good but they will 'pop' on at 1%.
When I use them, often I put them in a part cue so the rest of the lights will start coming up before you see them pop on.

Subject: [SML] Looking for recommendations to replace faders

A couple of groups I design for have Morpheus faders or old scrollers.
They're all getting long in the tooth and starting to fail. I'd like to recommend replacements and I've been starting to mull over LED pars. I'm interested in hearing people's thoughts on different fixtures at the community theater level (i.e. inexpensive). They would mostly get used to replace Fresnels as top light. I'm starting to do my own research but am open to any input I can get. Thanks.
