[SML] Digital mixing console

We got a Soundcraft Performer - super easy to work with, and a LOT
easier to teach on than the Yamaha LS9 we had before. We got the
Performer, because it allegedly could also work as a rudimentary light
board, but it turns out there's no patching available - it can do 30
channels of DMX, but addresses 1-30, and there's no patching, or
creating "submasters." (We thought we could make a few 'looks' for
lectures and stuff, so the sound op could just whip up a light look
for an event.) We should have gone with the Soundcraft Expression
series and saved a few dollars.

But the Performer is lovely - and we love the MADI digital stage boxes as well.

Right now I'm looking at the QSC touchmix and Yamaha TF series but I'd like to know what others have found easy to use and durable. It would be used by at least 3 different people for events as simple as lectures to mixing small bands. 24 inputs should be more than enough.
